But most American Jews will vote for Biden regardless. More Christians care about the fate of Israel than Jews, most of who have abandoned their religion and are secular today. It’s sad.

"But it wasn’t until Democratic Arab leaders in the swing states of Minnesota and Michigan put Biden on notice that they would walk and allow Trump to win that Biden flipflopped 180 degrees." There are variations of the following joke that's going around: "Biden has a two-state solution for the Middle East - Michigan and Minnesota."

Greetings, Dr. Joe.

History shows Israel has been under siege since their modern birth in 1948. Here is another part of history not many people understand: the first two WORLD WARS were men against men, strictly secular. The THIRD World War is religious in nature, Hamas representing Islam and Israel representing Judaism and by extension Christianity. This information is found in the essay "A Brief History of the THREE World Wars" (a biblical account). I would be happy to send you or anyone who wants to read it a copy. God bless.

Did Bibi write your piece? Really, it just shows how the media has completely turned everything upside down. I wish you would widen your scope when you are getting info.

But let's begin. Israel helped started Hamas and funded it through the years. It was done so as to make a counter force against the PLO. Well, Hamas is a religious organization and was able to stop the "two state solution" to the Oslo Accords. No one wanted to mess with the Muslims and Bibi was fine with that b/c he is totally against a two state solution.

But it's not a question of past history, b/c Netanyahu has been funding Hamas as late as Sept. 2023 through bags of cash sent from Qatar. This was revealed most recently in questioning between Joe Scarborough and Likud minister Nir Barkat on the MSNBC Morning Joe Show. This is on top of the fact that Israel knew of the Hamas plan to attack it for over a year. I know: Joe S. is a flaming lib--the point is that Barkat didn't deny or even dispute any of the facts Scarborough presented as a basis for his queries.

Something is fishy!!!!! Could it be Bibi wanted the Israeli "Pearl Harbor"event (which has been established was not at all a surprise)? Israel's almost instant response was to cut off food, fuel and water to Gaza. Now many are starving to death and international food providers are held up from entering Gaza or, worse, are targeted with bombs etc. So much for your claim that "Israel tried its best to minimize civilian casualties." Oh, and they're bombing mosques, churches and hospitals and taking credit for it.

You seem convinced Israel is our bff. Then why do they repeatedly spy (notably Jonathan Pollard but there are many others) on us and sell our military secrets to the Chinese? https://twitter.com/noble_x_x_/status/1755004398692946302

Playing Repugs against Demonrats is reprehensible on your part. These are, after all, politicians, who stay on-track of whatever will be advantageous for "their side." True, the D's are supposedly turning on Israel b/c they know the whole world is watching the horror show of genocide that Gaza has become. And, yes, they understand Muslim power politics. But never say never in politics. The R's are kowtowing not to the Palestinians but to the Zionist Jews. You could explain it by saying both parties are owned by different factions of the same people.

I am surprised that you would consider a ceasefire as a "setback for Israel's security." Hamas may have started it all, but Israel's over-reaching "total war" [i.e. civilian deaths are fair game] response is against any sense of morality. The "moral highground" they claim is wearing very thin--and at last count there is an admitted (very conservative) 30K death toll as well as over 70 k casualties.

The complete lopsided nature of the emerging world view astounds me. At best count there are 133 hostages, 35-40 being children, women or infirm. The Israel estimate is 129 hostages and the rest are remains. The last cease fire was proposing 700 Palestinian releases (100 serving life sentences for Israel murder) for 40 hostages. Where is the fairness in this trade. It seems we hear at least daily how Israel is unfair and innocents are being harmed. I sympathize with those innocents but they are no more innocent than those in Myanmar, West Africa, Sahel, Haiti, and Ukraine. Where is the rhetoric or protests for those innocents? Well we do get regular, political biased, updates on Ukraine.
